Obituary of John A. Figueroa

John Anthony Figueroa, age 36, passed away peacefully on Saturday November 5th, 2022 at home after battling stage 4 colon cancer.

John was known for his warm smile, his sense of humor, his love for music and giving heart. As a young adult he was part of the Life Is Suite group and performed in various establishments including Club Space and The Ravel Hotel/The Penthouse.

He attended the Cardinal Hayes high school for boys, graduated from Lehman College and dedicated his life to working for a non-profit for over 10 years. 

He is survived by his mother Ana Diaz, his sister Rosabelle Del Campo and spouse Danna Del Rosario. 

Visitation will be at the Riverdale Funeral Home, 5044 Broadway, New York, NY 10034 on Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 2pm to 7pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Rosa Of Lima, 510 W 165th St, New York, NY 10032 on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 10am.

Burial will at Ascension Cemetery, 650 Saddle River Rd, Airmont, NY 10952 on Monday November 14, 2022 at 12:30pm.
