My buddy John, Figs, Figgy was always making me laugh and sometimes in tears. When I joined NTFP, Figs was welcoming, funny, and giving me advice. We were young professionals who shared our dreams and had similar taste in music. I remember that time we talked about becoming CFP® practitioners so that we can train athletes how to manage money and earn the big bucks. He was like my older brother and my sensei. We even tried to set up a fitness crew to jog over the GW Bridge. We did it a few times and it was glorious. I witnessed him grow over the years and fall in love with Danna. I was filled with joy and the biggest fan to see him be truly happy. John was passionate about making an impact, had courage, and deep down to his core was making people laugh and smile. He had the gift to calm people down when clients, coworkers or friends were stressed or worried out about credit, life goals, and sports. My admiration for John will remain forever. I will miss you!

Good afternoon, my name is Mónica Merino Ynza, John was my cousin .
I would like to thank you all for joining us today.
Dear Aunt Annie, Danna, my parents and John’s Godparents …Miguel and Aida, my brother and sister Miguel and Claudia, family and friends of John who have come today to pay tribute to a beloved son, husband, nephew. cousin and friend.
As I remember my cousin John, I think of a cute little 3-year-old boy who came into our lives when he was 3 years old.
John was very close to my family because he lived with us and grew up as a little brother full of love and tenderness.
He was a cheerful, happy child and grew up with an amazing personality.
As little Johnny grew up, he studied and became a great young man, he was also a person who contributed in many ways to improve our lives.
His loving mother, my Aunt Annie, was his role model and taught him the values and work ethic that became the foundation that lasted his entire life.
I remember when my dad came home from work and had to come home with one of his favorite candies, his frunas or his doña pepas. How he loved his sweets!!
We have so many beautiful memories of our Johnny, I remember when my brother Miguel took him to be the mascot of one of the most important soccer teams in Peru called Universitario de Deportes.
Club of which we are fans.
He looked so cute walking onto the field wearing the cream uniform of the team and the
Hand of the captain of the U.
John and Danna, his dear wife, a year ago decided to open their hearts to God and get married so that they could share together all their desires, dreams, love and respect for each other.
I know that right now we are all going through great pain for the loss of our beloved Johnny who left this earthly world to be in heaven with God.
With the sadness that invades us today, we must understand that our great Johnny is now much closer to us than we can imagine, and we will always have him and carry him in our memories, hearts and thoughts. Furthermore, we know that death is the path that takes us to God to heaven, where there is no suffering, no tears, no pain.
Let's leave sadness aside and feel happy for our Johnny and for everything he achieved in this life while he was with us, because from where he is now he will be watching us as our beloved angel, our great warrior of light next to Our Lord Jesus .
Rest in Peace dear Cousin.

Quisiera agradecerles a todos por unirse a nosotros hoy.
Querida tía Annie, , Danna , mis padres y Tambien padrinos de John …Miguel y Aida , mis hermanos Miguel y Claudia , familia y amigos de John que han venido hoy para rendirle homenaje a un amado hijo, esposo , sobrino. , primo y amigo .
Al recordar a mi primo John, pienso en un hermoso niño pequeño de 3 años que llegó a nuestras vidas cuando tenia 3 años de edad
John era muy cercano a mi familia porque vivió con nosotros y creció como un hermano pequeño lleno de amor y ternura .
. Era un niño alegre, feliz y creció con una personalidad increíble.
A medida que el pequeño Johnny creció, estudió y se convirtió en un gran joven, fue también una persona que contribuyó de muchas maneras a mejorar nuestras vidas.
Su amorosa madre , mi tía Annie, fue su modelo a seguir y le enseñó los valores y la ética de trabajo que se convirtieron en los cimientos que duraron toda su vida.
Recuerdo cuando mi papá llegaba de trabajar y tenía que llegar a casa con uno de sus dulces favoritos , sus frunas o sus doña pepas . Como le encantaban sus golosinas !!
Tenemos tantos recuerdos hermosos de nuestro Johnny, recuerdo cuando mi hermano Miguel lo llevó para que sea la mascota de uno de los equipos de fútbol más importantes del Peru llamado Universitario de Deportes.
Club del cual somos hinchas .
Se le veía tan lindo entrando a la cancha vistiendo el uniforme crema del equipo y de la
Mano del capitán de la U .
John y Danna, su querida esposa, hace un año decidieron abrir su corazón a Dios y casarse para poder compartir juntos todos sus deseos, sueños, amor y respeto el uno por el otro.
Se que en este momento todos estamos pasando por un gran dolor por la perdida de nuestro amado John quien dejó este mundo terrenal para estar en el cielo con Dios.
Con la tristeza que hoy nos invade, debemos entender que nuestro gran Johnny ahora está mucho más cerca de nosotros de lo que podemos imaginar, y siempre lo tendremos y llevaremos en nuestros recuerdos , corazones y pensamientos además , sabemos que la muerte es el camino que nos lleva a Dios al cielo, donde no hay sufrimiento, ni lágrimas , ni dolor .
Dejemos la tristeza a un lado y sintámonos felices por nuestro Johnny y por todo lo que logró en esta vida mientras estuvo con nosotros, porque desde donde está ahora nos estará observando como nuestro amado ángel, nuestro gran guerrero de luz al lado de Nuestro Señor Jesus . Va

John was a genuinely extraordinary man. One of the kindest, smartest, funniest and most reliably positive individuals I've ever had the privilege of working with, Figgy was someone I often looked toward to guide and inspire so much of my work at NTFP. John's understated courage, immense compassion, tireless work ethic and uncompromising authenticity are just a few of the amazing traits he exemplified from the moment I met him. No doubt he was one of the finest role models I've ever known. But above all else, John was a great person and good friend. I will miss him.

En verano de 1989 tía Ana llega de visita a Peru con Jhon que tenía en ese momento 3 añitos.
En ese momento no sabíamos que Jhon iba a estar con nosotros un tiempo prolongado ( 3 años) nos trajo una alegría inmensa su presencia, ocurrencias , travesuras .. no me alcanzaría las palabras todos los momentos que pasamos juntos. Uno de mis amigos Italo Maldonado era jugador de un equipo d fútbol y optamos por sacar de mascota a Jhon esa foto esta en nuestro recuerdo siempre al igual que para mis amigos que compartieron con Jhon.
Primo te voy a extrañar muchísimo… nuestras conversaciones por chat, bromas etc etc.
