Obituary of Charlie Carrero
Charlie Carrero, 66, of New York, passed away at St.Luke’s Morningside hospital. Born July 18, 1954, in New York, he was the only son of five of the late Carmelo and Carmen Carrero.
He is survived by his two children Charles Anthony and Stephanie Carrero and grandchildren Griffin, Sasha, and Noah.
Charlie was the type of person you instantly loved and wanted to be his friend. His spiritual energy was one you gravitated toward because he was so full of life. His smile would brighten up your day and his laugh was contagious. He wore his heart on his sleeve, never stayed angry for long and he forgave quickly. Charlie was optimistic There was no room in his soul for negative energy. He thought the best of everyone. No matter how bad things were going he knew that everything would work out in the end. If you were feeling down or experiencing some bad luck he did everything in his power to put a smile on your face. Charlie did what he could to help even if it put him in a tight spot because that’s the kind of person he was.
Charlie had a love of sci-fi apocalyptic movies, fishing, and carpentry. He had the skills to fix or build anything you could imagine and where you would see a piece of trash he saw the potential for something beautiful.
