My family and I have known Charlie for the past two years and seeing him always put a smile on our faces. He was such a wonderful addition to the building and we are so sad to learn of his passing. We will all miss seeing him and his warm smile. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family—we hope they know how many lives he touched and we hope that he is resting in peace.

Charlie radiated warmth and loving kindness. From the moment I met him, he made me feel welcome. He always looked for ways to help. No matter how great his challenges became, he faced the future with hope and determination. Charlie had a smile and a friendly word for everyone. Charlie was one of the nicest, kindest people you’d ever hope to meet. He conveyed a very reassuring sense of caring and understanding. Living together with all of us he had years of getting to know us, and he thought well of us. He had a special ability to accept people as they are. He brightened our lives.
The world needs more people like him.
Charle, we’ll miss you.
