Melba Alayon entered into rest on February 28, 2012 at the age of 71. Melba is survived by her beloved husband Bienvenido, her loving son Michael (F.D.N.Y.) and daughter in law Ann. Her funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, 9:00 AM March 3, 2012 at The Church of the Ascension, W. 107 Street and Amsterdam Avenue.
Her family will be present to receive friends on Friday March 2, 2012 here at the RIVERDALE FUNERAL HOME, 5044 BROADWAY @ 214TH STREET. Between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
