John M Knowles passed away on January 23, 2019 with his loving family by his side. Beloved husband of Geraldine (née McMahon). Loving father of Kevin(Christine), Nancy Irving (David), Kathy McMahon (Dan) and Karen LaBelle. Chrished grandfather of Hannah and Dillon Irving, Kevin, Ryan and Katie McMahon, and Shannon and Sean LaBelle. A dear and loving relative and friend to many others. John was the proprietor of the Pipers Kilt Restaurants in New York and Patricks of Sarasota, Florida. He was a longtime member of the Ardsley Country Club in Irvington, New York and former President of the Gator Creek Golf Club in Sarasota, Florida. He will be missed by all who knew him. Friends and family may visit at the Dwyer & Michael's Funeral Home 90 N. Broadway Tarrytown, New York 10591 on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A funeral mass for John will take place at Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church 268 S. Broadway, Tarrytown, New York 10591 Saturday, January 26 at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Westchester 1025 Westchester Ave., White Plains, NY 10604 Suite 200 in John Knowles’ name
