Louis Lambran of Saddle River New Jersey entered into rest on Sunday December 25, 2011 at his home with his loving family at his side.
Louis was born on October 18, 1918 in Brooklyn, New York to Peter and Kyriaki (nee Jounakis) Lambranakes where he was raised. He served in the US Army during WWII where he was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star.
Mr. Lambran was the owner of the Suburban Restaurant in Paramus NJ.and a member of St. Athanasios G.O. Church in Paramus where he was the recipient of the Medal of St.Paul and he was an Archon of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
He is survived by his beloved wife Constance (nee Smirles) Lambran and many loving nieces and nephews.
His family will be present to receive friends on Tuesday from 5-8PM. at St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church, 51 Paramus Road, Paramus, New Jersey, with his funeral service celebrated on Wednesday 11:00AM at the Church with the interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery Brooklyn, NY.
