Pauline G. Mouyios was born in Alexandroupolis, Greece on March 23, 1931. She moved to the U. S. with her family as a young girl and settled in Yonkers, NY. She was an active member of the Greek Orthodox Church of Prophet Elias, where she met, fell in love and married George P. Mouyios. They had three children Diane (Mouyios) Soukas, Peter G. Mouyios and Joane (Mouyios) Perkins. Pauline was an impeccable homemaker and Greek cook, enjoyed Greek music, dancing, traveling and spending time with her family, while putting the needs of others ahead of herself. She was a doting grandmother to George and Alexander Mouyios and Nicholas and Alexandra Soukas. Reposing at Flynn Funeral Home at 1652 Central Park Avenue (just north of Tuckahoe Road) on Thursday, April 7 from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral to be held at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church, 15 Leroy Avenue, Yonkers, NY on Friday, April 8, 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Prophet Elias Church 15 Leroy Avenue Yonkers, New York 107. Interment at Oakland Cemetery in Yonkers.
