Obituary of Axia Luz Seguinot

We mourn the peaceful passing and celebrate the life of Aixa Luz Seguinot – known to all as Lucy. She was born to Carmen and Isidro Seguinot on December 13, 1964 in NYC. Lucy was raised in Inwood Heights and graduated from John F Kennedy High School in 1981. Lucy held employment at Inwood Community Services, Good Shepherd Church and South Bronx Mental Health Council. Lucy loved to sing, dance, crochet, and read romance novels. She blessed us with her love of music as a member of the Coro Hispano de New York and the Coro Hispano de Good Shepherd. She was a former Director of the latter. Lucy was also a former Director of the Children’s Chorus of Good Shepherd. Lucy’s love for music is inherited by her pride and joy, her son, Nicolas Julio Antonio Seguinot. She is survived by him, her parents, and her brothers and sisters- Victor, Awilda, Migdalia, Abimael, and Isidro Jr. Lucy, you will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who knew you. Rest in Peace. Her Family will be present to receive friends on Wednesday from 2-8 PM at The RIVERDALE FUNERAL HOME, 5044 Broadway, New York, NY. 10034 Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 0:00 AM at Good Shepherd RC Church corner of Broadway and Isham Street.
