Obituary of Constantine J. Varlamos

Varlamos, Constantine J Suddenly on June 29, 2013, of Harrison, NY. Gus had been the owner of Gus' Service Station in Mt Vernon, NY and a devoted member of the Evzone Chapter 405 of the Order of Ahepa. His wife, Phyllis predeceased him in 2002. He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Ziennicki (Cindy) and her husband Martin and his son Jonathan and his wife Christina. Gus has four grandchildren, Eva & Stefan Ziennicki and Alexa and Constantine. He is also survived by His sister in Greece, Ekaterini Lykos, and his brothers and sisters here; Maria Kouroupas, Athanasios Varlamos and Evangelismos Varlamos. Gus has many nieces and nephews and a great many friends. He is loved by all and will be truly missed. His wake will be at the Harrison Funeral Home, located at 329 Halstead Avenue, Harrison, NY Tel # 914-835-0284, on Tuesday July 2,2013 from 4-8PM. Funeral Services will be held at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Wednesday July 3, 3013 at 10 AM. The address of the Church is 10 Mill Road, New Rochelle, NY 10804 Tel 914-235-6100. Burial will be at the Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye, NY following the religious services.
