Obituary of James L. Fotiades

James L. Fotiades of Queens, NY. entered into rest on Thursday May 24, 2012 at his home with his loving family at his side. Mr. Fotiades was born in New York City on November 19, 1918. He served in the United States Army During WWII in the Pacific Theater from 1941 to 1944. James is survived by his devoted wife Helen (nee Gimourginas), his two loving daughters Stacey Fotiades, Maria and her husband John Valliades, his two cherished grandchildren; Eugenia and George, and by many nephews, nieces and other relatives her and in Greece. The family will be present to receive friends at the FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME; Northern Blvd. & 193rd Street in Flushing on Tuesday May 29, 2012 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. His funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday May 30, At 9:45AM at St. Demetrios Cathedral, 84-35 152 Street, Jamaica New York, with the interment to follow in the family plot in Mt.
