Obituary of Marion A. Finfinis

Marion A. Finfinis, née Mouyios, passed away on August 20th, 2015 in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, where she moved in 2009 from Riverdale. She was 91. George Finfinis, her husband, predeceased her in 2003, after 60 years of marriage. She grew up in Yonkers before the family moved to the northwest Bronx, where she completed her education. Marion managed the Riverdale office of Drs. Bert Schoeneman and Gordon C. Gaynor for over 23 years, until her retirement in 1987. Surviving are her beloved son James and daughter-in-law Sandra; beloved daughter Jo-Anne and son-in-law Emanuel; grandson Justin and wife Linda; grandson Johnathan and wife Sheila; great-grandson Tory; brother George and sister-in-law Pauline; sister Peggy; and several beloved nieces and nephews. Respects can be paid to Marion at Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY, on Tuesday, August 25th, from 2 p.m.–4 p.m. and 6 p.m.–8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church, 15 Leroy Avenue, Yonkers, NY, at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26th.
