Obituary of John P. Ward

John P. Ward entered into eternal rest suddenly on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 of Inwood. He was 50 years old. John is the devoted son of Susan and the late John Ward. Loving fiance of Lisa Gittler. A Dear brother of Mary and her husband Tony Daw, Michael and his wife Karla Ward, Brendan Ward and Eileen and her husband Zeke Duarte. Loving uncle of 8 nieces and nephews also survived by his aunts and uncles. John will be greatly missed by so many. John was a great man and an inspiration to all the scouts. John's funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 10:00 AM, at Good Shepherd RC. Church, located at the corner of Isham Street and Broadway in the Inwood Section of Manhattan. He will be interred in the family plot at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 Stevens Avenue, Valhalla, New York. His family will be present to receive friends on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM , here at the RIVERDALE FUNERAL HOME INC. 5044 BROADWAY @ THE CORNER OF 214th Street in NYC (Inwood).
