Rosina Castronovo entered into rest on Wednesday November 8, 2017. She was 86 yrs old. Mrs. Castronovo was born on March 1, 1931 to Joseph and Mary Perrone. She worked as a seamstress in the garment industry. A beloved wife of the late Salvatore. She is survived by her 2 loving children Salvatore Castronovo and Maria Santoro, her 4 cherished grandchildren, Robert Anthony, Stephen Joseph Santoro, Jaclyn Marie Pepe and Salvatore Cono Castronovo, 3 great-grandchildren Matthew Vincent, Gianna Nicole, and Daniella Marie Pepe. Dear sister to 3 sisters and 2 brothers, and a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. The family will be present to receive friends on Sunday from 6-9pm and Monday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at the Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home, 113 Lake Road, Congers, NY 10920. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday November 14, at 10:30AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Tuckahoe with the interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
