Zografia Anagnos (Jo) neé Gabriel, of Ft Lee, NJ. and Halcott Center, NY, Entered into rest peacefully at her home on Sept 30. Jo was born March 26, 1930 in Scranton, Pa and raised in NYC. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Alexander, her children: George (Melanie), Maria Pierce (Bob) & Steve (Vicky). Jo was a beloved grandmother to Alexandra, Steven, Johnny, Michael, Tommy, Christine, Alexander and Arianna. She is also survived by her brother, George. She is predeceased by her parents, Efstratios and Maria and by her sister, Athena Amaro. Jo was a talented artist, loved classic movies, the music of Frank Sinatra and spending time in Halcott Center. Jo touched the lives of many with her smile, grace, generous spirit and optimism. Visitation will be Thurs, from 5-9 PM Oct 2, at A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, 495 Anderson Ave, Cliffside Park, NJ 07010. Funeral Services will be held at the Holy Trinity GO Church, 10 Mill Rd., New Rochelle, NY, Fri, Oct 3, at 11 AM. Donations may be made to the Greek Division of the Ronald McDonald House 405 E 73 ST, NYC, 10021.
