Pascual (Ojeda) Maldonado, 88, passed away on June 1, 2018 surrounded by those he loved, after succumbing to lymphoma. He was born on May 18, 1930 in Puerto Rico. He lived with his partner, Elsa Pena in New York City and they were together for over 40 years. In this time, Pascual was a father figure to Elsa’s three daughters, Glenis, Elsa and Urianda. He had an amazing fascination with watches, calendars, sneakers, Yankees hats and haircuts. He was a simple man, who required so little but gave so much of himself.
Pascual’s pride and joy were his nine grandchildren, Jose, Christina, Elsa, Abraham, Christopher, Cindy, Melissa, Junior and Christian and his great grandchildren, who all called him Abuelo.
Family will be present to receive friends and family on Monday, June 4th from 3:00 - 9:00 PM, at Riverdale Funeral Home, 5044 Broadway New York, NY.
