Bridget Carmel Collins(nee Duke) on December 20, 2014. Native of Elphin, Co. Roscommon. Beloved wife of the late Martin. Devoted mother of Martin, Kevin and his wife Peggy, and Carmel and her fiancée, Ed Carroll. She is also survived by her sister Maureen Murphy of Tullamore Co. Offaly. She is predeceased by her brothers, Seamus & Tom. Family will receive friends Tuesday 2-5& 7-9 PM at the Riverdale Funeral Home, 5044 Broadway at W. 214th Street, NYC. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 10:00 AM at St Gabriel’s RC. Church 3250 Arlington Ave, Bx., NY with interment at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, NY to follow. Carmel leaves behind many friends and was known for her spirituality, kindness and humor. She will be missed.
