Gallagher, Timothy Joseph "Tough Timmy" on November 13,2015 of Kingsbridge Bx. Decorated fire fighter captain of Engine 88 from Belmont Avenue in the Bronx and a US Marine . Beloved husband of the late Corinne ( Nee Sullivan). Loving father of Susan and her husband Natale , Nancy Gallagher and the late Carol. Adored grandfather of Tiana, Maurizio, Timmy, Francesco and Jesse. Son of Goldstar mother Bridget and Charles. Dear brother of Edward, US Air force WWII, Eileen, Charles, Mary and James (all deceased). Dear brother of Ann/Dick Borsuk and Neil/Peg Gallagher. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews, friends and those who loved him. He was a man who cared for everyone even before himself. He will be greatly missed by all the lives he touched. Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Margaret of Cortona RC Church 6000 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx on Thursday, November 19th at 9:45 AM. There will be no visiting at the Funeral Home. Burial to be followed at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the NYC Fire Department Burn Unit.
