Dino Mario Capone, of New York NY. entered into rest on Monday December 17, 2012 at the NY Presbyterian Hospital. Dino was 78 yrs. old. Mr. Capone was born on January 30, 1934 to Costantino and Cristina (nee Tupone) Capone in Altoona PA. where, he was raised and attended local schools. Dino was a graduate of Penn State University and also attended Fordham University, Hunter and City College of NY. He was retired from the NYC Library.
Mr. Capone is survived by a sister Lilia Sprankle of Altoona, two brothers Alberto of California and Gene of Altoona and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was pre deceased by his brothers Domenico and Arturo. The family will be present to receive friends on Thursday from 6-9PM at The Riverdale Funeral Home in NYC, his funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday 10:00AM at the Cabrini Chapel in Manhattan. Interment will take place Saturday December 22, 2012 at the Calvary Cemetery in Altoona PA.
