Obituary of Bossora Aguiar

On the night of November 5th 2017 at the Mount Sinai St. Lukes Hospital, Bossora Aguiar’s life came to a peaceful rest at the blessed age of 100. She is survived by a beautiful legacy of her 4 daughters (Carmen, Luisa, Bossora, and Herminda), 9 grandchildren, Richie Roman, Wanda Roman, Mayra Rosario, Jose Luis Rosario, Danilo Nuñez, Rodney Núñez, Kevin Núñez, Nathalie Edmead, Vanessa Edmead, and 7 great-grandchildren, Dianellys Torres, Joshua Núñez, Gabriella Morales, Isabella Núñez, Elijah Núñez, Timothy Nuñez, Jeremy Nuñez. Bossora was not only a devoted mother and the leader to her family, but also viewed as a mother and leader to so many others in her community. She won the hearts of many with her beautiful soul. As a mother, she is known for her unfiltered honesty, unlimited kindness, and unconditional love. As a 50 year resident of Harlem she was recognized as a leader. She was known for her unwavering commitment to keeping unity in her family and in the community. Please join us in honoring her at her funeral viewing service on Wednesday, November 8th from 4pm-8pm at Riverdale Funeral Home: 5044 Broadway, Manhattan, NY 10034 and her burial at Woodlawn Cemetery: East 233rd St. and Webster Ave., Bronx, NY 10470.
