Manny gave me my first job out of college, in the Design Department at NYCHA. He was always a mentor to me and we kept in touch through the years, most recently through his association with the Westchester Chapter of the NYS Building Officials Conference. Manny was a great friend, always a gentleman and someone I deeply admired and respected, from the day I met him in 1984. My thoughts, prayers and sincere condolences go out to his family and friends.
