Sophia G. Johneris entered into rest on Sunday November 27, 2011 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx. Mrs. Johneris was born on December 5, 1918 in Larnaca Cyprus to George and Panayiota Georgiou.
Sophia is the beloved wife of the late Alexander Peter Johneris. Devoted mother of Ann Johneris.
Mrs. Jonheris is also survived by other relatives here and in Cyprus, England and Denmark Her funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 11:30 AM. at St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church on Wadworth Avenue and 179th Street in NYC. Her family will be present to receive friends on Tuesday from 2-5 & 7-9 PM Here at The RIVERDALE FUNERAL HOME; 5044 BROADWAY @ 214TH STREET IN NYC. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimers Association would be appreciated.
