Alexandra Shikar ( Alice) passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the age of 94 in Florida. Alexandra is the wife of the late Nicholas. Alexandra is survived by her children, Dennis (Connie) Shikar, John (Nancy) Shikar daughter in law Margaret N. Shikar her eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Nicholas.She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her and loved her. Visiting will take place at the Riverdale Funeral Home INC , 5044 Broadway @ at the corner of 214th Street on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from 3-7 PM. Funeral services will take place at St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, 124 Wadsworth Ave, corner of 179th Street and Wadsworth Avenue NYC at 11:30 AM followed by an internment at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings on Hudson NY. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Spyridon Church in her name. May her rest be eternal. A true icon of her church.
