Viola passed away peacefully on March 14, 2018 with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband and son John. Viola is survived by her daughter Anne (Goodwin) her daughter in law Karen and grandchildren Matthew, Amanda, Jennifer, Christopher and her sister Josephine (Greco). Viola was a lifelong resident resident of Yonkers until moving to Maryland with her daughter and family after her son's death.Her passion was her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her family Viola loved to cook. She looked forward to the many holiday dinners at her home, especially her Christmas Eve dinners with all her brothers,sisters and children and grand children. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday March 24th at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 70 Park Hill Avenue, Yonkers with her interment to follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
