Vasiliki Bellas entered into rest on December 24, 2016 at the age of 90. She was born on March 19, 1926 in Hlomo, Albania to Nicholas and Olga (nee Chappel) Gregory. She married Constantinos Bellas in 1950 and was happily married for 58 yrs. before his death in 2008. Vasiliki is the beloved mother of Alexandra and her husband Nicholas Marinis, John and his wife Marian Bellas, Olga and her husband John Staffen; cherished grandmother of John and his wife Amy, Dean and his wife Liz, Jason and Paul Marinis, Allison, Constantinos, Jennifer and Luke Bellas, Jack and Evan Staffen; loving great grandmother of Andrew, Scott and Theodore Marinis; dear sister of Chrysanthe and her husband Tom Moukas; her nephews Peter and Nick and her niece Patty and their families. Her unconditional love was felt by everyone who knew her. She was humble, kind, sincere and never without a smile. Her family will be present to receive friends on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 here at the Riverdale Funeral Home from 2-4 and 6-9 PM . Her Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 10:00AM at The Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church, 15 Leroy Avenue Yonkers NY. 10705.
