I knew John when we were teenage bowlers at University Lanes in the Bronx back in the late '50s. We were bowling teammates in '68-'70 at Elmsford Lanes while I still resided in the Bronx. Although it's been more than forty years since I was last in communication with him, I have always remembered him fondly.
