George F. Bartko

George F. Bartko, 95, of Briarcliff Manor (formerly of Yonkers), passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024.  George was the son of the late George and Stella Bartko.  George was predeceased by his wife, Rita, to whom he was married for 63 years.  George served in the Navy during the Korean War and he was a Foreman at General Motors in Tarrytown, NY for 35 years.  George was a parishioner and member of the Holy Name Society at Sacred Heart Church in Yonkers, NY.  George is the beloved father to Suzanne Donnelly (Stephen Rossi), Rosemarie McIntyre (Scott), and George Bartko (Debbie).  Cherished grandfather to Sean Donnelly, Tess and Jack McIntyre, Giana and Sofia Bartko.  Memorial service at the Chapel at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY, on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Wounded Warrior Project Wounded Warrior Project - Donate.
