Mom I will miss you so much. The best memory with you are all the memories actually. We always laughed and had a great time. Well one of my memories are the ones where we spent in the kitchen while you were cooking. I just needed to know your recipe to like everything. Little did I know most times u were winging it lmao. Anyways, you purposely used to leave the front door opened after you splashed ur sofrito in oil so that the neighbors can smell your cooking. “Can u smell it in the hallway?” YES MOM WE CAN. But of course the whole building did. Missing the times where she had one cigarette in one hand and banging the pot w the big spoon on the other that most times signified that the food was done. My mom was the funniest, everyone loved her, held no grudges and always found a way to get things that I needed or anyone for that matter. The dancing and the music her stylish advice.
