Obituary of Pedro A Ramirez

Pedro Alfredo Ramirez Sr., 89, of Inwood entered into eternal rest on Tuesday October 15, 2024. Pedro was born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico and moved to New York City as a young man.  Beloved husband of Maria M. Ramirez, predeceased, loving father of Pedro Jr. (Kathleen), Ruth (Pattiann) and Manuel Sr. (Kimberly). Cherished grandfather of Manny Jr., Caitlin, JD, Alex, Giuliana, and Sabrina.  Pedro retired from JP Morgan Chase Manhattan Bank as a Computer Technician. His strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit found him involved in many opportunities to provide for his family and support community activities. He enjoyed coaching and promoting Inwood Little League which brought him great joy and countless long lasting friendships. Pedro will be remembered as a man who lived to love his family, had a contagious smile, and an unforgettable laugh. 

The family will be present to receive friends on Thursday October 24, 2024, from 3 pm to 7 pm at The Riverdale Funeral Home. The Mass will be on Friday October 25, 2024, 10 am at The Good Shepherd Church located at 4967 Broadway, New York, NY. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Pedro A. Ramirez Sr. to Inwood-Manhattan Little League.
