James John Terzakis passed away peacefully on September 14, 2024.

Born in Beverly, Massachusetts June 15, 1929. The son of John George Terzakis and Evelyn Sakellaris Terzakis. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Angeliki Georgelos Terzakis and numerous nieces and nephews. James was predeceased by his brothers Andrew, George and Theodore.

He served in the United States Air Force from 1951-1955 and was released with an honorable discharge.

James was employed with the First New Haven National Bank in New Haven, Connecticut as a Vice President and Director of Research for Mergers and Acquistions, new branches and corporate planning.

After his retirement from First New Haven Bank, James was appointed as Vice President and Director of Distribution Management for Society for Savings in Hartford, Connecticut.

James graduated with distinction from Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He also earned an MBA and BS degrees in Business Administration, both in Marketing from Boston University.

James was a member of Saint Barbara's Greek Orthodox Church in Orange, Connecticut. Also, a member of Saint Barbara's Educational Endowment Committee.

Funeral Services will be held in Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, 124 Wadsworth Avenue, New York on Wednesdfay morning at 10am, September the 18th. Interment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, New York with Air Force Military Honors.
