Hi I am one of Ana’s granddaughters Jasmin, daughter of Marylin. My grandmother was a loving kind women. Growing up, there was nothing like grandma‘s cooking. They say cooking for your family is showing how much you love them and my grandma‘s cooking sure showed me how much she loved me, every thanksgiving or Christmas or even when I would go visit she always had a plate for me, I would always request her famous Farina no matter the time she would get up and stir that pot with farina for me. Growing up, I would always remember pampering her she would love when I brushed her hair, shaved her legs, painted her nails I think one time I even pierced her ear lol she was such a funny women because why would you want me to do that!! At the age of 26 I finally got pregnant in her own words “ya era tiempo” and I gave birth to my beautiful daughter Amora and OOOH BOOOY she loved that little girl so much she would be in pain or barely could walk but she would manage to get up to play with her and love her and even though I didn’t want her to give her candy all the time my grandma did not listen! That was her baby and she was going to get what she wanted!! I loved the way she loved my kids. I wish they grew to know her more I know she would always have spoiled them with love and affection. I love you grandma thank you for the beautiful years together. Till we meet again. I will love you always.

My fondest memories of my Titi Anita is going out to eat with her after every doctor appointment to El Bohio Restaurant. She would get white rice, beans and chicken chunks on the bone with a lemonade. We would eat and laugh and talk about life. I miss those days, but I'm glad that I have them as memories. Te Amo Titi Anita, Sleep in Peace.

My fondest memory of Ana is when I first met her. It was on a Mother’s Day. My mother invited her to our annual Mother’s Day celebration. My mom hadn’t seen Ana in over 15 years or so. Ana was her stepmother. And throughout the whole day all I could see is how much my mom and Ana loved eachother and how happy they were to reunite. They kept hugging each other and my mom kept giving her kisses like that was her mother. I found it so beautiful that they had that bond. My mother is my pride and joy so to see that Ana loved her soooo much made me happy and grateful that she was a part of my mom’s life.
Another memory I have of Ana is that I started getting invited to the birthday celebrations at her house and I remember I found out she was the one who cooked all the food. The food was amazing and I was shocked that at her age she was still “throwing down” in the kitchen and hadn’t lost her touch of it tasting delicious.
I know Ana was on fire for The Lord and she is rejoicing in heaven with our Heavenly Father.
