Heaven has gained an angel!
Guarina, was special to me and fills my heart with only the fondest memories. I'll never forget her laughter, always in stereo with "Cuchi," her parrot. So many precious anecdotes come to mind. Her pastelón de plátano was omg....the best, and her morning coffee with a hint of nuez moscada, when heading to El Diario with Anna, was perfect. I can still smell the aroma of it.
Her love for her kids and grandkids was profound. When I told her I was going to have a baby she spoke words of wisdom to me. She even went to my baby shower and I know she never went anywhere, but she did it for me, which meant a lot.
I remember my last visit to her so vividly. Despite her condition, she recognized my voice, called me by my name, and even asked about my son, leaving Felo in awe. Though I may not be able to attend the viewing... it hurts...Guarina will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Rest in peace, dear Guarina.
You touched me deeply. Her light will forever shine on those she loved.
