Born in the beautiful town of Rincon, Puerto Rico on July 3, 1936, he decided to move to New Jersey in the mid 1950’s for better employment opportunities. He met his future wife in New Jersey and eventually moved to the Inwood section of Manhattan where they raised their five children. He dutifully provided for his family and anyone in need of help without hesitation. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He had a funny personality, enjoyed the music from back home and always felt at peace whenever he went to visit his old hometown. He was great at sewing and restoring furniture. That was his trade for many years. He also took pride in his health and keeping fit by going for walks and staying active. People were amazed whenever he told them his age.
