Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Ramon?
A: Ramon was one of, if not, the kindest soul I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was the first one to offer to help with any and everything. I will never forget his generosity and warm spirit. Q: How did you meet Ramon?
A: He was one of my students for one class. A good and very pleasant student and always with a smile, the type of student you never forget and that makes teaching a pleasure. It was during covid and when we switched to Zoom mid semester, but he still always managed to have a pleasant attitude and great smile. I enjoyed our conversations and he will sorely be missed. Rest in peace Ramon.

During my second year of college, in a physics classroom, Ramon and I met. We were both sitting in the front of the classroom, and he introduced himself. From then on, we were in touch throughout pharmacy school.
In physics class, during labs, sometimes I had difficulties setting something up and although he was part of another lab group, he would quickly come over to help me. He provided me with his textbooks for several of my classes. He was glad to share his notes at any time and he sometimes even sent them to me without me having had asked, in case they could help.
Whenever I was worrying about an exam, whether it be during pharmacy school and then for the licensing exam, Ramon would always motivate me saying he has no doubts I will do well.
His help even extended to my sister, who was a year below us. He actually drove to bring her his books and notes for the licensing exams. My sister remains grateful to him for that.
Ramon was a genuinely kind person who wholeheartedly loved helping people. He was studious and would spend copious amounts of times studying at the library. He was generous to share what he had with others, no matter how much time, money, and effort he had spent on it. He would send the funniest texts with GIFs which would make me laugh so hard that, at times, I had tears in my eyes and momentarily couldn't breathe.
He was one of the few people who kept up with me after we graduated.
I will miss you, Ramon. I will always remember you.

I actually started wearing Chelsea boots thanks to Ramon . We randomly struck up a conversation about footwear and he was telling me that it was the way to go . Definitely agree . Most of the times we talked it was about school related matters and such unfortunately but nevertheless we were still cool peeps . RIP brody .

Q: How did you meet Ramon?
A: Dear Dr. Ramon Feliu,

When I heard of your death tears developed behind my eyes and the first memory that hit me was meeting you in the elevator in the Metcalfe building. A mutual friend introduced us and said hey he's getting into the Pharmacy program too. I remember you sizing me up and it was instinctual. We both looked at one another and in a predominately Russian and Egyptian school, we saw another Hispanic student. It was like that movie Step-Brothers. "Did we just become best friends? I think so!" After undergrad, we got into the pharmacy program where we spent 6 years becoming pharmacists and best of all best friends. You came to my wedding party and presented a wonderful gift that you and your wife handmade to my wife and me. You always went the extra mile Ramon, but that mile was easy for you.
After our P4 year in pharmacy school, I knew you were going to become a pharmacist. The material was so easy for you. You were able to grasp it with one read-through. Studying? You would say "jokes". You saw me struggle in school and helped me out a lot. I didn't have to ask. You knew where I was studying and came with a cup of Starbucks with outlines of the material.
That was you, Ramon. So humble and so helpful. I saw it first-hand in rotations. How you translate in Spanish all the medication therapy management the viejos needed. As much as we always said we wanted to become pharmacists for the money you probably meant that 2% of the time. You sat back and helped many patients. But before you helped patients you helped classmates like myself push forward in this program. I could never forget you Ramon. I hear pharmacy, I hear Ramon. It's synonymous.
John 16:22: "So with you; Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy."
I miss you, bro. These words are hard to put down because you're not with us anymore. I can't wait to cross paths again and catch up over some beers and cigars like we used to. Until then hermano ya tu sabe.

I met ramon at riteaid I had the privilege of being trained by him as well as hazed his way of teaching me tricks and shortcuts. The best part about ramon was his smile it didn't matter what you were going through he had a joke or weird comment to make you laugh. Ramon became a brother to me he was supportive and always found a way to make me feel safe, he respected me and always reminded me that he loved me. Life happened and we kept in contact and hung out often we became a part of each other's lives outside of work. I have the most beautiful memories of him that I will cherish for the rest of my life. My grandmother passed away and that's when he became a protector making sure I was ok, making sure I ate, making sure I didn't need anything, making sure I smiled and when I was having a hard day at work he would step in so I can have a moment to myself.
I Thank God that in my lifetime I had a Ramon in my life, a friend, a brother, someone I could talk to at any hour of the day. He loved pharmacy and helping everyone who needed it. I will forever have a void in my life without him but, I also have a lifetime of memories to keep me laughing.
Thank You Ramon for leaving such a beautiful mark on my life.

We grew very close, we bonded over our shared love for cars, he would show me all the customizations he was doing to his M5, he spoke very passionately about it. It honestly hurts to see you gone. Generous, hilarious, kindhearted, approachable …
If I had to describe Ramon in as little words as possible there still wouldn’t be enough words to describe his true nature.
No matter what he would ALWAYS stop to genuinely spend time and spread his contagious smile, not just say a generic “hello” and “bye” to anyone. His kindness had no bounds, and he would always share his time with anyone and everyone, including me.
The number of times we would have an exam and he would explain the same thing to me over and over and over again will always be living rent-free in my heart. Never did he make it a point to make me feel less than. On the contrary, Ramon had a special gift of making me feel uplifted and so much better when something that was beyond me finally clicked in my head after he would speak to me. I could even see the spark in his smile once I would have my “ohhh I get it now” moment.
Ramon, you will never be forgotten because you did too much in this life for that to even be a thought and that is something that can never be taken away.
Miss you always. Rest easy in paradise.

Q: How did you meet Ramon?
A: I’ve had the pleasure of meeting you Ramon in the company Rite Aid. I had just transferred over from a different location and I was the shift supervisor for the location we worked at. Small location at first for a few then we had moved one street back to a much bigger location. You were always friendly and sweet and I know how passionate you were about the job. Once I got together with my husband it became big news to you since you already knew him because he was a customer there for many years and you guys also happened to live next to each other, just the next building. I met Ramon during finals week in the LIU library at 5 AM with his amazing friend Kinda Aalem.
Those 2 saw I was a struggling first year pharmacy student and did not hesitate to help me. They went above and beyond for me within our first hour of meeting and later developed even more amazing bonds. Flash forward a few years, to all of us graduating with our Doctorates in Pharmacy.
The loyalty, positivity, and kindness of Roman will forever will be remembered. Anyone who knew him was incredibly lucky.

Ramon was the type to be a partner-in-crime, ride-or-die, he didn’t even ask too many questions, just ready to support unconditionally. His loyalty? Unmatched. He defended me endlessly behind my back for years, never once letting me feel the clouds of others under his sunshine.
We couldn’t walk down the hall to a study room without someone stopping to chat, that’s who he was. Friendly, welcoming, nurturing, and selfless. I don’t want to forget to mention— always smiling. In 6 years, I probably saw him upset twice. He never once asked for favors back (maybe for an exam or two but hey, fair), and he always went out of his way, even for a stranger. He shared every advantage he ever got with every single “friend-group” in our class, he never held back. Let’s not forget his passion on a subject he was intrigued about, happily taking time out of his own day to explain it to anyone that needs help. Hey, he even used to give a ride home to those who needed it in the snow or rain.
Not really sure how to navigate this but I’m sure his reply to that would be “myyy loveeeee it’s ok” and a big hug. But it’s not okay right now, and neither am I. Miss you always and forever, love you always and forever.
