Obituary of Carmen Maria Boria-Lopez

Carmen Maria Boria Lopez, 88 Years old, of Manhattan, passed away on June 16, 2024, in Manhattan, NY.

Funeral service will be held at Riverdale Funeral Home Inc., 5044 Broadway, NY, NY 10034 on June 19^th & 20^th, 2024 from 3pm to 8pm. On Friday June 21^st, 10 am mass will be held at the Church of Saint Elizabeth, 268 Wadsworth Ave, NY, NY 10033. Burial will follow at St. Raymonds New cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Ave, Bronx, NY 10465.

Carmen was born in Gurabo, Puerto Rico to Jose Manuel Boria and Mercedes Ortiz Pabon on September 3^rd, 1935. She enjoyed sewing and making clothes, doing upholstery, making her own curtains and she was a fantastic awesome cook. She liked tending to her plants and flowers. She was a homemaker in every way. She enjoyed listening to music and dancing. She and her husband Emilio met in the summer of 1953 in New York city. They later married July 7^th, 1955, in Our Lady of Guadalupe church, New York City.

Carmen is survived by her spouse Emilio Lopez, her children Nancy, Anthony and Phillip, her grandchildren, Christian, Stephanie, Anthony, Derrick, Joshua, Austin, Matthew and Melinda, her nieces Christine, Debbie, and Lorraine and her nephews Joseph, Bryan, Adrian, and Micheal.   She is preceded in death by her brothers John Boria and Jose Boria

Carmen gave her unconditional love and kindness to all. Carmen is with God our heavenly Father now resting in his love forever in everlasting life.

Carmens Family will be present to receive friends on Wednesday and Thursday from 4-8PM. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday.

June 21, 2024 at 10 AM at St.Elizabeths RC Church NYC. Burial will follow at St Raymonds Cemetery.
