John G. Cotsonis died on April 17, 2012 at his residence in Washington Heights,NY He was born December 13, 1930 in Miami, Fl. His wife, Helen (nee Pascal), predeceased him in 1991. He was a kind and gentle man who always had a nice word for everyone. He will be sorely missed. His wake will be at the Riverdale Funeral Home, Inc on Thursday April 19, 2012 with visiting hours from 6-9 PM. His Funeral Services will be at held at the St Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church at 124 Wadsworth Avenue, NYC 10033 on Friday April 20, 2012 at 11:30AM with the interment following at the Mt Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson,NY. John is survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins. Donations to St Spyridon GO Church or to the ALS Disease Research are preferred.
