Obituary of Jacqueline Roberts

Jackie Roberts, born on March 19th 1930, in columbia, SC lived a remarkable life filled with determination, education and compassion. Her journey took her from South Carolina to New York, where she pursued her studies in accounting and theology after initially  leaving high school to work and obtain her GED. Despite facing health challenges including a stroke in 1989, Jackie's spirit remained strong. 

Jackie caring nature extended beyond her career, as she dedicated herself to ensuring her mother received excellent care until her passing in 2009. She cherished time spent with her family, particularly enjoying visits with her daughter and grandchildren in Virginia.

Known for her generosity and willingness to assist others, Jackie was deeply loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her legacy lives on through her daughter, Erika, three grandchildren, Zukye, Zumani and Zumar as well as her nephew Mark, niece Yasmin,cousins and many friends. Jackie passing on May 11th, 2024 marks the end of a live well-lived, leaving behind cherished memories and a lasting impact on those she touched.
