Obituary of Rose Spadola

Rose Spadola of Yonkers NY entered into rest on March 14, 2024 just four short days of her 100th Birthday. Rose was born on March 18, 1924 in NYC to the late Vincent and Luigia (Guarneri) Veltre. She was pre deceased by her husband Rocco in 2010.

Rose was what everyone liked to call "Wonder Woman". She loved to bake for her loved ones and friends. Her many talents include baking, cooking, gardening, hosting gatherings for family and friends to name a few. She loved life and her family. She never missed a day of attending Mass and enjoyed having her parish priest to her home for lunch and dinner.

Rose is survived by her (4) children, Louise D’Aleo of South Carolina; Catherine Torrieri of Hawthorne, NY; Rosanne Phillips (Michael) of Quakertown, PA; and Frank Spadola (AnnMarie) of Yonkers, NY

Her (8) grandchildren…Angela Rizzo, Frank D’Aleo (Megan), Gina Bubbico (Daniel); Michael D’Aleo (Kiera); Lisa Williams (Drew); Christina McNerney (Robert); Anthony Spadola; Janine Spadola.

Her (13) great grandchildren…Ashley, Alex, Alyssa, Brooke, Paige, Kaylynn, Adriana, Juliana, Noelle, Peyton, Gianna, Matthew and Evan.

Her family will be present to receive friends on Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Sinatra Funeral Home, 499 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10704.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 12:00 noon at St. Barnabas Church, 409 E. 241st Street, Bronx, NY

Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY
