Yvis was a fierce woman. She worked doggedly to achieve her goals and never complained. She was a God fearing and religious woman, with a flair for the dramatics especially when it comes to her shows, which she'd watch on her phone during lunch. Her sudden outbursts of emotions would bring us a chuckle. She was an intensely private person, discrete and generous with her time and donations. She and I sat 4 feet from each other every day and even though we didn't talk at length most days, I knew she cared deeply for me and I for her.
Yvis, I was/ am crushed by your sudden departure. You are part of our little family, and I will never forget you. I played Karol G today for you, and everyday (except for thanksgiving) I clean your desk. Ilesh and Pinky water your plants. We will see you again. May the earth be light, the journey thrilling, the destination glorious. Love you always,
