Spending time with family is the most cherished thing. Those memories are all we have of each other. Whether it be having dinner with you and dad, just talking to you about anything because you always had some knowledge to share or the meat loaf recipe you gave me, still one of my favorite things to eat and I get to share that with the kids. I’ll cherish the memories you gave me until we meet again. I love you nana

I don’t have a specific memory of my grandma but I do know how much she loved me. I always felt that my grandma had an undeniable joy whenever I called to check in on her or called her for her birthdays. I know that I have a lot of personality traits that were passed down to my dad that were eventually passed down to me. Those things I will hold near and dear to my heart because those are things that make me who I am. I will forever be grateful for every thing she has ever done for me. I appreciate the fact that she made the two people I trust the most in my life very strong and loving (my dad and aunt). I will miss you grandma but what brings me comfort is that one day we will meet again. I love you always

Carmen P. Scifo Eulogy
Our mom came into the world fighting and she went out the same way. Her life was a hard one but she met it on her terms. She dealt with the bad and celebrated the good. Having no one to depend on, she worked hard to give us stability, a home and food on the table.
She embraced her life, she loved music and dancing, travel and good food but most of all she loved tony and I. Being adopted, she wanted a family she could call her own so Tony and I were the beginning of her family.
Then came Linda, Anthony, Jordan and Victoria who she loved dearly. From Linda came Carmela, Domenic, Santino and Serafina, from Jordan came Liana, Talia and Arya. This is her true legacy. Through us our mom will live on. Through our mannerisms, personalities and looks she will always be around. We really hope there is a heaven because there isnt a more deserving woman than our mom. Thank you mom for all you have taught us and given us. Tony and I would not be the people we are if you weren’t the woman you were. We love you and will miss you but we know that you will continue to walk along us and guide us.

Spending time with Nana meant hearing the most interesting stories about a strong and ambitious woman : herself! She always set a courageous example on how to carry oneself. I’ll forever remember and cherish my memories and stories with her. Love you Grandma.

I remember the first time I meet you was when I came from Malta to the US back in 1952. You and Tony lived in the same apartment building as us on 96 street.
My uncle Tony and you were great dancing partners, I can still picture you both dancing. You will be missed. RIP beautiful lady❤️

My dearest auntie
Carmen!
You have a place in my heart, next to my grandmother nunna , and my parents! You and I became friends when I was a young teenager , you and your 2 kids moved in with us. You treated me kindly and would take time to talk to me as equals even though I was much younger. Whenever I called you throgh the years you always expressed your love for me as a nephew, and I loved you likewise. Will miss hearing your beautiful voice! Our creator has provided away for all of us from this enemy death by means of a future resurrection to a paradise earth, thanks to Jesus ransom sacrifice!

I knew Mama as I would call her through her daughter, my dearest friend Linda. She was always smiling and very caring. Everytime I saw her she would hug and kiss me and always ask how I was doing, more worried about me then herself. I love Mama and will miss her muche Rest in Peace.
