Obituary of Madelyn Manon

Madelyn Manon also known Maddy was 56 yrs. old of Jamaica Queens, NY, she passed away on September 7, 2023 at Calvary hospital Bronx, NY.

Madelyn Manon was born on July 9th, 1967 in New York City, NY to Margarita Caballero and Marcos Manon.  She attended PS 160, Shimer middle and Hilcrest Hight School, where she made many lifelong friends, Charmaine, Karla, Jeanette and Diana.  She earned her certification as a CNA in the 80’s and worked in the healthcare field for many years. She enjoyed doing arts, crafts and fixing stuff.  She loved her family and friends dearly, and if you ever needed her, she would always be there. She was also involved in organizations such as St. Jude for children. 

Madelyn is survived by her Father Marcos Manon and Stepdad Pedro Kessler.  Children: Johnny Rodriguez, Janet Rodriguez, and Jessika Paulino.  Siblings: Philip Manon, Evelyn Manon and Michelle Kessler. She has 11 grandchildren; Julian, Emanuel, Ryan, Johnny Jr., Jayla and Janelle, Danny, Samantha, Angel, Xavier, and Samira. nieces/nephews; Jonathan, Christopher, Joshua, Elizabeth, Amanda, Samantha, Jiovani, Angelina, Brianna, Ramel, Najah, Jason.  Aunts; Amarilis and Alba, Cousins; Fernando, Marilin, Jennifer, Jocelyn, Michael, Melanie and Tony.  She is predeceased by her mother Margarita Caballero and sister Janet Manon.

Funeral and visitation services will be held at Riverdale Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 4:00 to 8:00pm.
