The Obituary

Claude N. Robinson, son of the late Mr. Howard Robinson and Mrs. Pauline Robinson. Blessed the world May 11, 1945, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His life of labor and love ended peacefully on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Montefiore Medical Center in The Bronx.
“Bunny” as he was affectionately called by his siblings Howard (Sonny) Robinson, John William (Johnny) Robinson, Ronald Lester (Ronnie) Robinson, Laverne Inez Robinson-Jones, Carol Louise Robinson-King, and Sandra Lee Robinson. Because he love his baby blanket that had bunnies all over it.
While in Oliver High School, not only Claude excelled in track and field it was his passion.
When Claude was working at Smith & Block he had met and fallen in love with Claudia. On April 7, 1967 Claude and Claudia had gotten married. Within their fifty-six year union. They had three children Warren Robinson, Yolanda Robinson and Claude C. Robinson. Both Claude and Claudia instilled in their children to work hard in what you do and do not let anyone stand in the way of your hopes and dreams. No matter the obstacle you keep fighting for what you want. Claude was the foundation and rock of his family. He worked a plethora of jobs within his lifetime. Smith & Block Supermarket, a truck driver for Manhattan Convertible Furniture Store, Shipping and Receiving for White Rose Foods INC and a custodian for The Walt Disney School Public School 160, in the Bronx.
He enjoyed Bowling, Smooth Jazz, R&B, Nature, History Channel, Sci-Fi, and Classic Movies. When he visits family, sit on the porch and enjoy nature.
Known as “Pops or Robinson” in the neighborhood, he was deeply respected, admired and looked up too by all.
Claude is loved by his, two grandchildren Claudia Anne Robinson and Warren Robinson Jr, his daughter-in-law Anne Robinson, his nieces and nephews, his step-brother Bryant Corbet and extended family members.
