Obituary of Edwin Dowd

Edwin ‘Big Eddie’ Dowd was a caring father, grandfather, brother, partner and friend. He left this world on June 30, 2023 at the age of 71.

He was born to Edwin Dowd and Gloria McKervey in Brooklyn NY on June 17, 1952. He is survived by his partner Edna Cline, his son Edwin Dowd Jr, his daughter Lorie Brennan and her husband Richard Brennan. His beloved grandchildren Haylee and Edwin Dowd III, Connor, Kellan and Reilly Brennan. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Margaret(Peggy) Dowd, Patricia (Patty) Dowd, and Kelly O'Toole, Daniel Maher, Donald O'Toole and wife Barbara, Larry O'Toole and Peter O'Toole, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be deeply missed.                                                                                                                                                                                   

Visitation will be at the Riverdale Funeral Home, 5044 Broadway New York, NY 10034 on Thursday July 6, 2023, from 3pm to 7pm.
