Q: How did you meet Lisa? A: Lisa was one of the first American nurses I worked with on night shift. She was so smart and calm and real. Everything I knew about New York was from TV and movies so Lisa helped me assimilate. And have fun. Spending time together on shift sharing our stories and lives. We witnessed each others weddings, she and Marvin so important in our children’s early life. Our family is just sad at her passing. We celebrated so much together. The third picture is Lisa and Marvin (Bahamas, their wedding celebration) swimming with our oldest, Harry. Lisa actually said best way to teach him was to toss him in, lol. We send our love to Lisa’s family. Thank you for Lisa. Peace

Years ago, we in the NICU admitted a little girl with a complicated heart disease we called Jazzy. Lisa loved her dearly. Jazzy was with us for over 1 year. Lisa helped celebrate her 1st birthday and when Jazzy had to leave us, Lisa came in to escort her to her new home in NJ. My memories of Lisa are; she’s an avid reader, loved St. Matin, loved iced tea, iced coffee, and her beloved Marvin. Rest in eternal peace. Lisa, you will be deeply missed.
