Obituary of Lucille Registe

"When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure."

Lucille Registe affectionately called Lucy was born on April 24, 1955 in the village of Pichelin, in the commonwealth of Dominica. She was the first daughter of Augustine Delsol and Ralph Registe. She migrated to the United States during her teenage years and made her new home in the Bronx, New York. There, through her diligence she became qualified in the field of accounting.

Lucille was a God-fearing person, she epitomized humility, compassion, and understanding. Lucille had a calm comforting spirit which made her a friend to many in times of distress. She attended church services at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, located in the Bronx, New York where she was a registered member.

Though living a private life, Lucille was driven to support her family and close friends by any means possible. She enjoyed engaging in distance walking, sightseeing, cooking, shopping for fashionable clothing and other items all while singing and dancing to her favorite musical artist: Lucky Dube.

Lucille is mourned by 1 soulmate, 6 sisters (including 1 adopted sister), 3 brothers (including 2 adopted brothers), 2 godsons, 10 nieces and 12 nephews, and 8 grand nieces and nephews, 1 aunt and 1 uncle, cousins, other relatives and close friends living in the United States and abroad.

The family and friends of Lucille Registe extend sincere appreciation and gratitude to all who supported us through these tough times. Do not mourn over her passing; but remember her fond memories. Whenever you think of Lucille Registe, simply share a heartwarming smile.
