Obituary of Sean Janson

SEAN JANSON was born February 22, 1978 in the City of New York, to the late Maysie Janson and Richardo Janson, who proceeded him in death.  He was the youngest child of seven children.

Sean received his education at Murray Bergtraum HS. He loved playing basketball and watching sports. Sean was loved by many and touch the lives of those he came in contact with. He loved growing up on 181^st where he would lend a helping hand to those in need.

He enjoyed playing and spending time with children especially his nieces and nephews. Many would remember him for his energetic, free spirited, and spunky personality. Sean was always the life of the party and was one to never turn down a good time. He was one who cared more for others than himself.

He leaves to cherish in his memories, his siblings Joseph Abbott (Robin Mccloud), Maureen Abbott, Cherrie Henley-Harrell (Howard Harrell) Cheryl Henley-Davis (Devon Davis), Silvani Tabas, and Alfred Gumbs (Shareen Gumbs), Many aunts, uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held at Riverdale Funeral Home, 5044 Broadway, New York, New York 10033 on Friday, March 17, 2023 from 4pm to 8pm.
