Merope Mabel Torres entered into rest on Saturday March 11, 2023 at the NY Presbyterian Hospital with her family at her side. Mabel was born on November 2, 1926 in Nicosia, Cyprus to John and Maria Karavatakis. She is pre deceased by her husband Santos (George) Torres and her son John Torres. Mabel is survived by her daughter Mary Torres, her two grandaughters Andrea and Christa Torres and great grandaughter Arya Torres.
Her family wil be present to receive friends on Friday March 17, 2023 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 302 West 91st Street, New York NY 10024 at 10:30 am , with her service to follow at 11:30 am . The interment will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery Bronx, NY.
