Obituary of Alice Comas

Alice Comas, 95, of Tuckahoe, NY, passed away on February 12, 2023. She was born Aleeky Karidas on August 29, 1927 in Newark, NJ, to Stylianos and Alexandra Karidas (née Karpathian) who immigrated from the Greek Village of Vathy, Samos around 1923. On July 18, 1950, she married Michael J. Comas, who passed away in 2001. She is survived by her children John, Steven and Cathy and their spouses Mary Comas, Valerie Comas and Neal Marianiello. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Alexis Marianiello, Nicholas Comas, Michael Marianiello and Emily Comas and her sister, Irene Christofer and the countless family and friends whose lives she touched.

There will be a viewing at Prophet Elias Church in Yonkers, NY. At 10:00 AM on Friday 2/17/23, followed immediately by a church service at 11:00 A.M.  

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Prophet Elias Church, 15 Leroy Avenue, Yonkers, NY.
