Obituary of Alizah Gaillard

Alizah Kaine “La-La” Gaillard of Bronx, NY passed away at 7:37 A.M. on January 15, 2023, while in the hospital after losing her battle to an aggressive brain cancer (DIPG). She was born in Harlem, New York, to Andre Gaillard and Nzinga Vaz on June 8, 2015. She grew up in the Bronx with three siblings, Olivia Vaz, Devon Lewis, and Cassidy Gaillard. Alizah enjoyed outings with her family, she loved school, and she enjoyed playing with her siblings and cousins, and had the ability to put a smile on the face of anyone she encountered. Alizah was resilient and had the ability to teach all those who were around her to be fearless. She attended P.S. 310 in the Bronx, where she was loved by all her classmates and faculty alike. Alizah made an impact on everyone in her life, due to her peaceful nature. At the young age of three she understood her relationship with God, where she was able to recite and remind her family members to pray. Alizah was special to us all and she will be missed deeply. 

Funeral Service will be held at Congregational Church of God, 1889 Amsterdam Ave, NY NY 10032 on Wednesday 10am. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery, Cortlandt, New York.
