Obituary of Claudette Robb Ross

Claudette Robb Ross, 73, of Inwood, New York and Montclair, New Jersey passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023. 

Claudette was born on October 11, 1949 to Irene Mitchell and Howard Robb Jr. in Montclair, New Jersey. Claudette attended Montclair High School and was a proud graduate from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a dual major in Food & Beverage and Housekeeping Operations. 

Claudette’s career was marked by her entrepreneurial spirit as she founded multiple businesses, including Four Star General Cleaning Corp and most recently, New York City’s Best Commercial Cleaning Service. 

Claudette’s proudest accomplishment, however, was raising her son, Raphael. Claudette was a loving mother who took great pride in Raphael and his accomplishments. They both gave each other incredible love and strength during her battle with cancer and he remained by her side through her final moments.

Claudette also had many loving friends throughout her life and was a well respected member of the community in Inwood, where she lived for 21 years. 

Claudette is survived by her son Raphael Ross, her brothers Claude and Brian Robb, her god daughter Katie Ng Ross, nieces, nephews, and many other friends and family.
